Step Five

Dust and wipe the floor surfaces and lower walls. At this stage, it should be a dry dust mop taken across the floor and lower vertical surfaces. Cleaning surfaces with a dry cloth to remove all the dirt before moving to a damp wipe makes effective disinfection and germ removal an easy task.

Afterward, a cleaner should go over all the walls and low work surfaces with natural cleaning chemicals and a lightly damp cloth.

Step Six

The penultimate step is essentially the final check. A full inspection of the office to check for any missed spots, mistakes, or out-of-place items is a must before moving on to the last step.

The cleaner should be checking that all moving objects are returned to their rightful place, that no cleaning items are left behind, and that the office or other commercial space is at the standard it should be.

Step Seven

This task uses one or more mop buckets filled with warm soapy water and disinfectant chemicals. All areas should be mopped the same way, leaving a fresh smell around the office. It makes sense to do this last as it limits the time spent walking over it and gives the floor time to air dry.
